AAhh!! The MTV Movie awards!
Another indication that I am old!
Another proof of how I cannot stand
this new generation of stars and celebrities.

I do not understand what these guys are trying to prove.
They already have the talent, (Well, some of them do.)
so why in the hell would they try to impress you more with such nonsense.
The shock value they are trying to convey
does not “shock” anymore.

Case(s) in point:

What in the hell is that WTF! category?
Is that really necessary?
Is there really a need for that contest?

And I don’t care if Hayden Pantyetieerewz is pretty and cute,
(Ok, I can’t spell her name and I am not
going to freakin’ google the right one.)

It’s a big turn off when pretty ladies swear
just for the sake of swearing or just to look cool.
You are not cool.
You are a twit!!

And what is that scene with Bruno (Borat)
flying in and landing on top of Eminem?
Was that even real?
I think Eminem is in on it.
Because the camera suddenly switched to him
right before the flying freak landed.

And why don’t we just call it the Twilight Awards Night
with a side of Zac Effrony and the High school janitor?

Although I must admit,
I was smiling when I saw the Twilight cast on stage.
That Bella is really cute. In her clumsy little way.
But that Alice is my new favourite.
She now joins my list of female vampires
I would allow myself to get bitten by

Anyway,
With all the swearing,
the gyrating,
and whatever innuendos
that was blatantly shown last night,

watching the youth of today makes me realize
how much hope we need.

This can’t be the future.
I refuse to believe that all is going in a downward spiral.

I think the Youth needs a Fountain.

A “Fountain of Smart.”
