Here’s a good example of yesterday’s message.

This TWIT, who shall remain nameless,
will just be known as “The twit who can’t print.”
(We chose the color pink for that name to signify his everlasting twitness.)

So I was having lunch yesterday, after hearing a mass in Church,
when I was graced by the presence of his twit-cellency.
I went to Church to pray for the victims of the attack,
I just figured, since I can’t go to Afghanistan and stick my finger up Bin Laden’s nose,
I’ll just have to pray that maybe someday I get to.

So anyway, I was reading the 30 page special coverage on the newspaper
about the Terror in New York.
When suddenly this twit, comes in and says.

“I don’t know about this media hype about Sept. 11.”
“There are more people who die of drunk driving in a month.”
“And why didn’t the people on the first planes overtake the hijackers,
They knew they were gonna die anyway?”

You know I am very emotional about this, so I said to him:

Would you change your mind and have different feelings if it happened here?

He says :

“I just do not understand the media coverage.
When Princess Diana died, they only ran the news for like a month.”

At this point, I had to stop my meal, because he is so in a perfect path for a Slapshot.
Then I said:

“Well, maybe it’s more of a respect for those who perished.
The innocent people, and the people who sacrificed their lives to help.
It is still very fresh in everybody’s hearts.
Nobody really had a closure about it.
And how can you compare one person’s death to this?
I do not see the difference if it happened in the States or here.
It is an attack to all of us.”

He keeps rambling on and on about something, but I had to leave the room.
I had to.
First he interrupts my meal, (and I hate being interrupted while eating).
And secondly, I do not think he even reflected on what happened.
He is just blinded by his ego,
or whatever he has.

Now I feel bad for him.
Not only does he have problems printing, he also has no clue.

I feel very strongly about this, and I am sorry if I would offend some people.

I am still stressing about how am I going to explain Sept. 11 to my children.
Honestly, I do not know if I am more embarrassed
to tell them that this is the world that they will live in.
Or there are people like this guy.
