It sucks to be sick.

Yes it does.
I have had this cough for more than 2 months now.
It is not as bad as when it started, but I feel it getting worse.
Again.

Yes I have seen a Doctor.
Twice.
But the cough is still here.
And I am not going back there anymore.

For those of you who don’t know me,
You wouldn’t think that I am a sickly person.

If you actually get to see my appearance,
you would probably think that I am person who likes to eat candy.
And cake.
Maybe a bit of donuts too.

But I get sick a lot.
I don’t even smoke. (Never did!)
I don’t even drink. (Not anymore!)

My immune system is as strong as
Superman chewing on Kryptonite.

I really do not mind the flu.
Nor the colds.
Nor the plague.
It’s the coughs I hate.
I really do.

I do not have any ending for this post.
I am just pouring out my frustrations.

Not on this site.
But on this cake I am about to munch on!

Most Requested

With all the music I have done on this site,
the most requested song is
I Love You, by Bro. Mike Lapid.

A big percentage of site referrals and search engines point out to that song
And it all redirects to my site.

I am actually not surprised. It’s a beautiful song with a beautiful message.
I am surprised though that people actually want to listen to my version of it.
Maybe because there are few, if not none, other versions of it out there.
But from the bottom of my heart,
I am truly honored.

A lot of people have requested to have a copy of that song
and I have respectfully declined to send it.

The song is not mine.
I just played it.
I played it because of personal reasons.
Not to show off or prove that I can.

I wanted to get a hold of Bro. Lapid to finally get his permission,
but I have no idea where to get a hold of him,
so I can answer the requests emailed to me, without guilt or hesitation.

I do not even know how the copyright laws would protect Bro. Lapid.
I do not want people having the notion that I am him or him playing the music.
I am sure his version is way better than mine.

And since most of the requests I have received have good intentions,
I am forced to send them my version.

As long as Bro. Mike Lapid is recognized as the one who wrote the words.
As long as it is noted that it is his music.
And let it be known that I just sang and played it as my own personal version.

This includes and is not limited to all the songs he made
that I have done and will do in the future.

In conclusion, I truly hope that the song would help others,
the way it has helped me.
I am sure that is what Bro. Lapid intended it to be.

Thank you very much.

(Songs are under CHORUS – WORSHIP)

PS – and for those who have emailed me before,
I will also try to scour my old email and will reply back to you.

**UPDATE**
Bro. Lapid finally found out about this and replied to me.
Please read this post as well. ->

A whole month?

There is only one reason why I would not write on my site.

A Promise.

I promised I will not write any posts while I am being influenced by Anger.
I’ll just end up blabbing about stuff I would most definitely regret saying afterwards.

What am I angry about?

Well for starters,
I have realized that I am not the Chosen One.
It also turns out I am not a Ninja, nor a Jedi.
I used to think I was a “Knight in Shining Armour.”
But it turns out I am just a “Retard in Tin Foil.”

You see my drift here?

And what annoys me the most
Is that some people are all of these
just by pure luck.

So, I am back to writing on this site now.
Since I am beginning to accept the obvious.

I know the World is not fair.
But it is never fair in my favor.

Reality

Just finished our Disney Vacation trip,
with no money and a flat tire.

AWESOME!!!

It’s my own personal “Welcome back to Reality!”

I’m pretty sure it was Mickey who slashed my tires.
I was flirting with Minnie the whole time I was there.

The Happiest Place On Earth

And we’re off!

Off to see the Mouse in Orlando.
The kid will be turning 7 next week
and I promised I’d take him to the happiest place on earth.

It’s funny what people think about
“The Happiest Place on Earth.”

Kids immediately know it’s Disney.
Women think it’s in Forks, Washington.

I personally think it’s wherever Kate Beckinsale is.

See you in a week!

CHORUS Part Deux!

You may have noticed I have configured the Chorus page on this site
with a JukeBox player. (Courtesy of Wimpy Player)
To better organize the songs in there.

I am in the process of adding the rest.
As well as configure all the individual song posts.

That’s going to take me a while to complete,
not only because I am lazy
but there are a crapload of songs in there already.

I never really noticed how many songs I have done.
Not to mention all the other stuff I never posted.

Anyways,
I hope you’ll like what I did there and it is still a work in progress.
I welcome any suggestions you might have.

Except maybe the way I play or sing.
I can’t do anything about that.
That’s as good as it’s going to get.

HAPPY MMS DAY!

AT&T allowed the use of Multi Media Messaging for the iPhone yesterday.

And how nice of them to send me a message
that it is available on my account too.

Man. It’s great to be living in 1997!!!

You know, I used to bash the iPhone,
But I have come to terms with it.
It’s not just a phone. It’s a mini computer too.

I just wish I could do more of what “I” want to do.

I am starting to like it now.
It’s AT&T Wireless I couldn’t stand.
They take the “phone” out of the “iPhone.”

And, I don’t care much about anything else.
This is what they should fix!

Give me 3G now!

Back to Friday 5!

Hey!
Remember this?

Back to Friday 5!

Man, I haven’t done this in a while.
Let’s revisit how fun the questions are
and I will try my best to answer them as straight and truthful as I can be.

1.) What story did you love reading, as a child?

-I actually loved a lot of comic books.
I followed the stories of Hägar the Horrible, because of its subtle sarcastic humour.
I loved everything on Pugad Baboy.
Everything in Funny Komiks.
I laughed out loud with every Asterix comics.
And also The Adventures of Tintin.

2.) What remains to be your all-time favorite book?

-I love books, but I must say that the only book(s) I read more than once are,
the Harry Potter Series by J. Rowling and Angels and Demons by Dan Brown.
I am planning on re-reading Lamb, by Christopher Moore too.

3.) What book do you usually recommend to people?

-I don’t usually recommend books to people, since books are very subjective.
I might like a particular story, but it might not appeal to another.
I just tell them what books I have read and liked.

4.) If you were a character in a book, who would you be?

-I would like to be Lestat. (Anne Rice Vampire chronicles)
I would like to see the world through his eyes.

5.) If you could write a book, what would it be about?

-I actually had this great idea for a book.
A vampire who falls in love with a human girl, but tries his best not to, since he knows he would destroy her. But the girl loves him too, so they try to make it work.
They do normal stuff, like play baseball with his vampire family in a lightning storm.
And then, ninjas would come along and try to take the girl, and the Vampire guy takes out his light saber and attacks the Ninjas, but they all rode in their broomsticks with freakin’ lasers coming out of its tail.

What?
Did I mess it up?

Oh man!
I was doing pretty good with my answers too!
