So, I just got off the phone with this guy,
and I can’t even begin to express how happy he makes me.

Don’t get me wrong. He drove me nuts a lot of times,
but that just made me appreciate him even more.

He has taught me a lot about myself since he was born on this day, 20 years ago.
Come to think of it, I am still learning every time we have our talks.
(I also learned that I am really old.)

One of the dangers of having a wife who loves the nerd/geek inside you
is that they end up ordering stuff like the ECTO-1 to add to your collection.

Especially when they’re at home recovering from their surgery and Amazon is readily available.

Some years ago, a dear friend of mine

sent me a pic of this ukulele from a music store in Cali.

I tried looking for one and thought I could learn to play it.

But alas, another instrument I didn’t get to try.

We could’ve made beautiful music together.

Ah! Who am I kidding.

I would’ve just stared at it coz it’s so cute.

So the Hospital won’t let me back in because visiting hours are over.

I went back to the lodge and snuck in a little piano playing by the common area.
